I wouldn't usually say I'm ecstatic to be be home, Sweden home. But I actually am so pleased to be home to see my family and to get out of the crazy busy London for a little while. Some fresh air, family, mammas food, the dogs and the chance to go earn some extra money isn't bad at all.
I was worried I'd be spending xmas alone in London a while ago when I was given a job offer. Although I really wanted the job, it wasn't worth being alone over christmas. Happy to be home!

Shot by @hamishcroker Yesterday was the last day of term at uni, can't believe I've already come half way through my university studies. Although I still have work to do over the holidays so I'm not feeling as relived as I usually would during a xmas break. But I just cannot wait to go home and see my family now. Anyway, so the highlight of this week must've been Monday when some of the girls from uni arranged a little Christmas get together. Was such a nice evening with cocktails, games, secret santa, good food and sweet girls. On thursday I took part of a group photoshoot which was so fun! Experimented with lots of different styles and concepts. So fun to work in groups, get to connect with other gorgeous creatives and photographer was the bomb! Check out his instagram and go spam him with likes! Have a lovely weekend! Saturday night, tucked up in bed with Netflix on the next tab.
Today was work day, 08.30 - 18:00. By the time I got home I was so exhausted, hungry and covered in glitter. I decided to reward myself with some takeaway, I was way to tired to cook tonight. So I'm now full, fresh out the warm shower, all cosied up and about to watch some of my new found obsession, Suits. I wish my hair looked this great every day! Took almost three hours to curl my hair and then separate each curl into smaller curls. The result turned out great!
Perks of modelling is you get to see yourself in so many new way and this time it was crazy curly hair. Exited to see how the photo's turned out. This was for a girl that doing her training at Vidal Sassoon, also the same girl that cut and coloured my hair last Monday. Time for a real vent out.
I am just so sick and fed up with temporary things, friends, and people in general. I know you should never ever blame yourself when people choose to no longer have you around but it's so easy to start thinking, what could/couldn't I have done differently? Or when they just decide that they still want you around but in the way that's best suited to themselves. I would call that nothing but selfish. Rant over. You know those weeks when everything just feels like it's going to shit?
Well that's what this week has felt like. I've caught a really nasty cold and I've no joke used up two loo rolls for my runny, now bright red nose. I've been dealing with some rather disappointing things this week, had a little bit of a melt down, I'm faced with some important decisions which I need to figure out which is making me feel really stressed, and I really miss my little Jack Jack. Buuuut let's start this weekend on a more positive note. I got my hair did on Monday, just a little trim, subtle highlights and colour. Very pleased with the result. I spent Wednesday with shooting with Peekaboo which was fun. This weekend I'm actually starting my temp work for Storm Flowers, whom I also worked for last year. Really looking forward to get to work and meet the 2018 team. Bring on the weekend please! The past couple weeks have been busy, exiting and productive. Today, or shall I say yesterday, we had our first presentation of our group project.
Happy with the critique we got and pleased to be in a good group for the project. After our presentation me and two beauties decided to go for a little drink to celebrate this small milestone and to break away from the stress of university. We went to the rooftop of John Lewis which has been turned into a little winter wonderland hideaway with an ice rink, mini cabins and of course a bar. Highly recommend it! Currently sat on the sofa wrapped up in a blanket, crunching on an apple as I'm writing this. Today I had a photoshoot for Peekaboo, we shot some stuff in the studio to go on the marketplace website and we also shot some outfits outside to go on their instagram page. Always so much fun to shoot with them!
I always feel so tired after a photoshoot day, guessing it might be the flash going off every time the camera clicks and standing up in heels. Maybe my 45 minute uphill walk is another reason... Now I'm going to catch up on some Swedish tv series and just chill out. xx Jeans - Zara // Top - Rodebjer // Shoes - Nike // Bag - Rebecca Minkoff London life at it's best with the Carla Fernández fashion at the V&A,
followed by tea and brownies at Brown & Rosie wit two of my favourite girls. After feeling super inspired, I decided to cook myself a delicious Friday night meal which consisted of garlic, coriander and lime topped sea bream paired with some roasted sweet potatoes. Holy freaking yum. Couldn't have asked for a better Friday, in my favourite city with friends and good food! Happy weekend! xx The last time I posted something on here was over three months ago. Not good! So much has happened in three months and I have so many exiting things to share that have happened in the past few months, weeks, and days. Lets just start off by saying that I'm now back in London for my second year at UAL. I feel exited to be back in my favourite city, it's been so good to see my friends again and to be back in an inspiring and stimulating environment. I've actually moved into a new place, with one of my closest friends which still feel a little surreal. Found such a great flat in the most amazing location, but will make a separate post on this. I've also started working with a brand called Peekaboo Vintage as one of their models for their Asos Marketplace shop which is super exiting and something I'm really proud of. I highly recommend checking out their site because there some gorgeous vintage stuff on there and you might even see my little face on there too, click here!
